NVCU donates $5000 to Morris Lodge in Bangor

North Valley Credit Union is proud to announce that a donation of $5,000 has been made to Bangor’s Morris Lodge residential care home. Being a non-profit charity, the home does not receive funds or support from the government or province, and even the board is made up entirely of volunteers. As a result, when major capital projects arise, it is important that funds are raised through donations. One such project is the necessary repair of the facility’s boiler.

Volunteers in Action

If you have an event coming up and would like some volunteers, tell NVCU about it and they might be able to assist.

North Valley Credit Union is well known for the amazing support it gives to the local community. They just took delivery of branded volunteer shirts for their staff members, and the message to the community is this… “If anyone is needing volunteers for anything don’t forget to contact North Valley Credit Union. If it works out we may be able to help you with your event”. So, check out these shirts and get in touch with them.

A blast from the past! – 100 pictures of Esterhazy, Stockholm, and the valley from the air in 2013

You might see some buildings which no longer exist, or some empty spaces where buildings now stand. Enjoy this time-capsule snapshot of the Hazy area from the air ten years ago! AND if you like this feature, tell your friends about it so they can enjoy this blast from the past too!

EsterhazyOnline / NVCU Announcer Evolution

It’s Kenneth Kerr here. Remember me from the EsterhazyOnline years? Well, although I no longer live in the Esterhazy area, I have continued to serve the community by publishing and managing the successor website to EOL, namely the NVCU Announcer. Recently, I met with NVCU and discussed the future of the site. We came to the conclusion that we can still serve the Esterhazy community and local area more than we are now doing. No, that does not mean returning to a full-blown news operation as EsterhazyOnline once was, but, with your help we can potentially create something that more of you will enjoy, and will make more use of.
