Lego Builders Club planned at the library

Greetings from the Jean Pask Library! We have a lot of exciting new programs happening this fall. We are in the process of planning a Lego Builders Club. The sessions will run the first Thursday of every month from 4:00-5:00, starting November 2. Each session will have a different design challenge and creations will stay on display at the library for the month until we meet again. To ensure that we have enough supplies for the program, we are asking for donations of Lego. If you have Lego that you are looking to find a new home for, we will gratefully accept it at the library. As not all building blocks are interlocking, we ask that only Lego brand be donated. Donations can be dropped off at the library during open hours or in the book drop. Thank you in advance for all donations!

We also have a giant colouring map that is set out on the table for people to add their artist flare too. We have materials in a variety of languages available and a great puppet theatre with new puppets! The library is a wonderful space for more than just reading a book or using the computer. Come in and play cards or do a scavenger hunt. Stop by after school and do homework, or enjoy your morning coffee in a new setting, curled up with a good book. If there are programs that you would like to see available here at the library, drop in or call us at 306-745-6406.

Library announces Story Time on Wednesdays

Hot on the heels of the announcement of the special Halloween story time, the Jean Pask Library has released details of an ongoing story time for ages 1 through 4. These events will take place on Wednesday mornings at 10, and although no registration is required, a parent/caregiver must accompany the child. See poster below. The dates will be added to our Community Calendars.
