Our House Saskatchewan, under the leadership of Gerry Oake, has announced the cancellation of the 2016 edition of the annual “Rolling for Recovery” Roll-a-thon.

This year’s event was originally scheduled for early September, and would have been the 11th incarnation of the popular fundraiser, but Gerry has recently taken on the management of Our House Vancouver, and his new responsibilities in BC preclude the continuation of the Roll-a-thon for this year.

All being well, Gerry plans to be back in Esterhazy to make addiction-awareness presentations at local schools later in the year.

The Roll-a-thon used to run from Yorkton to Esterhazy, but in 2013 was scaled back to a more manageable trek from Esterhazy to Stockholm and back.
