The town is winding down from a busy winter season. With the weather as good as it was made for less snow removal and more time for everyday duties. The rink in spite of a few issues, ran at full steam this season and is still going strong between figure skating, hockey and curling. The hall too was booked well, with lots of activities and fundraisers going on almost every weekend.
The longer days bring hope of spring and with it new builds and growth. This has been an exciting time for Esterhazy and it hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. Houses and businesses continue to sell and change and I look forward to seeing what the new season brings.
This being an election year, council will be focusing on bringing some of the projects that we have started closer to conclusion and leave the start of new projects to the newly elected council at the end of the year. A lot of progress has been made but we continually work on improving the community for the sake of all of its residents. Water and sewer, as always, are on the top of our list but there are many projects waiting in the balance.
As always, my door is open by appointment if you have any questions or concerns about the Town of Esterhazy, I will do my best to find the answer to your questions and give a voice to your concerns. Together we can make Esterhazy even better.
