News from Churchbridge Public School – February 24


  • Ski forms are available online until Tuesday, March 1.  Reminder that any first time skier or boarder in Grade 4 and younger as well as any Kindergarten, Grade 1 or 2 students must have a parent/chaperone accompany them on the hill.
  • Skating: Thursday, Feb. 25. Gr.3/4 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  Kindergarten  11:10 am to 12:10 pm. Gr. 5/6 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
  • Bully Prevention Group Meeting at 12:30pm on Thursday, Feb. 25.  Please come out if you are interested.
  • This week only Steve Nash will take place on Friday from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
  • Archery will begin Wednesday, February 24th at 3:30 pm.  This is for anyone new to archery!
  • Yearbook meeting after school Thursday, February 25.
  • The JR SRC will be selling Telemiracle Helping Hands from Tuesday, February 23rd until Friday the 26th. The first 100 sales will receive a balloon or sticker! Sales will take place on the black couches in the entrance way at 3:15 pm to 3:40 pm! Parents are welcome to purchase.
  • SRC students who have sold Beef Jerky can hand in their money to Mrs. Werle or Miss Marshall anytime.
  • Cross country skiing – ski/snowshoe at school Thursday. More dates will be added if the weather cooperates!
  • In UHL action team 1 defeated team 2 by the score of 6-3. Next action will be on Monday Feb 29 when Team 3 (colton) plays Team 4 (brock). Game time is 12:30 pm. Check out the stats by going to the link HERE and typing in the email – The schedule and teams are posted on the gym door. Remember that abuse of players and officials is strictly prohibited. Fans and Players disregarding this fact will be asked to leave the gym.
  • Staff:  Reminder that newsletter items are due this Friday.
