Music has always been a passion for Esterhazy resident Pat Arndt. On Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at the Saskatchewan Music Conference Banquet & Awards Gala in Regina, Pat was awarded the Saskatchewan Choral Federation’s “Community Service Award” for her contribution to the development of choral music in the community and subsequent enhancement of cultural life in Saskatchewan.
Pat grew up in a musical family and has been a singer and musician since she was young. At the tender age of 13, she and her sister were singing in the All Saints Anglican Church choir in Swift Current, and after moving to Esterhazy she was a founder member of “The Treblemakers”, a female vocal ensemble. In 1998, Pat volunteered to take over as Choir Director at St, Andrew’s United Church, a capacity she still serves in.
Well done Pat. We’re proud of you.
