Continued improvements for Warriors football program

The Esterhazy Warriors Football team and local businesses have been working together to make further improvements to the football program.

Most recently, new uprights have been purchased and installed on the field. Saskpro Machine Works supplied the labour to manufacture the units, and in conjunction Crushrite Concrete, Big Sky Electric and team members, installed them on the weekend of August 29th.  Already there have been many positive comments from the community on the new structures.

Reg Leidl, the Warriors Head Coach, recently said, “The support from the community for our program has been extremely positive.  Whether it be for fundraising, volunteering, donations, or family and fan support at the games. This type of backing reassures that we are an important part of this community.  Our fundraising has been going very well this year and our mentorship program is stronger than ever.  We are constantly working with the students on this team to become better football players, but more importantly to continue to be good people and learn life skills.  We look forward to continuing to make improvements to this program and having a great year!
